List of Airstrips in Murchison Falls : Murchison falls national park is the largest national park in Uganda, the park covers an area of about 3’840 kilometers squared, the park harborsUganda’s big five and a home to over 76 mammal species and 450 bird species.

Murchison falls national park is also bisected by the mighty river Nile the longest river in Africa and the magnificent Karuma falls. The airstrips at Murchison falls are; Pakuba airstrip, Bugungu airstrip and Chobe airstrip.

Pakuba airstrip

Pakuba airstrip is located in the northern sector of Murchison falls national park; it’s the best to use for tourists looking for accommodation in the northern sector of the park. These domestic flights take off from Entebbe international airport or kajjansi airfield the domestic flights are run by aero link or air Uganda.

Chobe airstrip

Chobe airstrip is located around Chobe safari luxurious lodge this airstrip is private and owned by Chobe safari Lodge airport shuttles are arranged for Chobe safari lodge visitors it’s the best to use for those looking for a luxurious experience.

Bugungu airstrip

Bugungu airstrip is located just at the southern sector of Murchison falls national park. The flights are operated by aero link and air Uganda airport taxis are available or tourists can be picked up by their respective hotels. The flights are scheduled at Entebbe international airport or kajjansi airfield.

Apart from travelling to Murchison falls national park by air, tourists can travel by road using private safari vehicles, car hire with a driver, or use public transport with buses traveling daily.
