Kulu Ora lodge is a new luxury accommodation owned and operated by wildplaces Africa that run unique properties across Uganda. The lodge is situated in the hidden gem on the shores of the Nile in the heart of Uganda’s largest Murchison falls national Park. How to get there:
It takes about 5-6 hours’ drive from Kampala city Centre Via Masindi to the park and an hour flight from Entebbe International airport to the close Pakuba airstrip, then a few miles to be transferred to the camp.
About the lodge
Kulu ora lodge contains of 10 big canvas Luxury and comfortable En suite walled rooms with the view of the River Nile reflecting African traditional building style and comfort.
Tents are well decorated, elevated on a raised platform, and furnished with private en suite facilities with clean Flushing toilets , bathrooms with outdoor hot and cold showers, outdoor bathtubs, solar energy available, wooden chairs and tables, mosquito nets, complimentary bottled water, extinguishers, ironing service, free toiletries , slippers to mention but a few.
Tents have sitting areas and terraces overlooking the breathtaking views of the wilderness, river Nile and the surrounding area.
Tents are well equipped with comfortable clean and washed bedding with queen-sized beds with single beds for individuals and double/twin for sharing, as well as family rooming options.

A stunning dining area that serves both continental and African-inspired meals that meet guests’ appetites. They offer Buffet breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner served by well-trained, friendly and organized staff. You can have meals in the place of your choice, either in the dining area or in the bush/riverbanks (bush breakfasts and dinners), while enjoying the stars in the sky at night and Morning sunrises.
A well-stocked bar with a variety of drinks, local ,cocktail , wines, spirits and international beers, you relax either in the garden or sip the drink of your choice while overlooking the stunning view over The Nile, Murchison park , wildlife roaming around the camp especially ,antelopes ,Uganda kobs, zebras, buffaloes, etc.

About the park
Murchison Falls National Park is the largest, oldest, and most visited park in the northeastern part of Uganda, located in Amuru. It was formerly called Kabalega national park. The park stands on the shores of lake Albert home of the scarce shoebill stork, occupying a total area of 3,840 km squared.
The park contains over 78 species of mammals, including the Big five animals like; Rhinos, Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes, antelopes; Impalas, zebras and over 450 bird species, like water birds, savannah birds, Albertine endemic birds etc. The park has different accommodations like; Budget , mid- range and luxury accommodations that are convenient and friendly to guests visiting the park.
There are different activities to do while in the park include; Game drive ,you spot different mammal species since the park has more animals, Boat cruise/Launch cruise along the Nile that gives the exciting panoramic view of the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls and enables guests to spot different aquatic animals like Hippos ,Crocodiles at the river banks , water birds etc , Hiking on the top of the falls, Hot air ballooning in the park , chimpanzee tracking in Budongo forest , Bird watching /Birding at the delta since the park has many bird species , Nature and forest walks in budongo forest , community visits to the local villages that encourages cultural experience mention but a few.
