Accommodation in Murchison Falls National park : Murchison falls national park is located in Masindi district in the Northern part of Uganda and is considered as the largest National park in the country, which covers a total surface area of 3,840 square kilometers. In addition, this park derived its name from the Murchison falls and its savanna, marshy woodlands, and acacia trees, borassus palms whereby forests and the woodlands dominate the southern part of the National park characterize the park.

Murchison Falls National park was first gazette as a game reserve in 1926 and later in 1952, which makes it one of the oldest national parks in Uganda. This National park harbours over 76 mammal species like; Buffaloes, antelopes, hippos, Nile crocodiles, African bush elephants, giraffes, elands and 451 bird species such as; the rare shoebill stork that attracts many bird lovers from all over the world.
