Entrance fees for Murchison falls national park-2021 are fares set up by (UWA) Uganda Wildlife Authority for any visitor who wants to access the park and engage in different activities. Murchison falls national park is the largest and one of the most visited protected area located in north western Uganda. The national park is bisected into two parts by the Victoria Nile and its known for harboring abundant animals including the big four of the five mammals (elephants, buffaloes, lions and leopards), other animals like Uganda kobs, warthogs, bushbucks, giraffes, primates like chimpanzees, red tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, different bird species like the rare shoebill stork, vegetation types, colorful butterflies among others.

Murchison falls national park offers interesting activities like game drives, guided nature walks, bird watching, cultural tours, launch cruises, chimpanzee trekking, sport fishing among others and in order to participate in these activities you have to first pay entrance fees. Entrance fees for Murchison falls national park-2021 are as follows.

Please note: All visitors will be required to present valid identification documents to confirm their resident status. A day’s entrance ticket is valid for 24 hours from the time of entrance and extra time spent in the park after 24 hours will be charged as an extra day. Children are persons aged between 5 to 15 years and person below 5 years are exempt.

Prices are for scheduled crossing, one way for transit vehicles and valid till 7:00pm on the first day of use for those residents in the park. Vehicles in excess of 20 tonnes require special approval in order to cross.

Launch cruise in Murchison falls national park takes a maximum of 45 people, launch trips take approximately 2 hours, minimum boat charges of 4 foreign residents is USD 120 and UGX 120,000 for 4 Ugandans.
