3 Days fly in Gorilla trekking tour : The 3 days fly in gorilla trekking tour is an interesting short safari that starts and ends Entebbe Uganda. The safari will take you to Bwindi impenetrable national park which is located in south-western part of Uganda and famously known for harboring the highest number of mountain gorillas. Mountain gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable national park are found in four sectors namely Rushaga sector in the south, Buhoma sector in the north, Ruhija sector in the east and Nkuringo sector in the south. During the 3 days fly in gorilla trekking tour, you will be able to engage in an adventurous gorilla trekking experience where you will be able to spend time with the gorillas in their natural environment.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Flight to Kihihi-Bwindi impenetrable national park
Depending on your location on the first day of the 3 days fly in gorilla trekking tour, you will connect to Entebbe international airport for your domestic flight to Kihihi airstrip which departs at around 7:00am and 10:30am arriving at Kihihi airstrip at around 8:15am, 11:45am respectively.
Upon arrival, our driver guide will pick you up from the airstrip and transfer to the lodge for lunch where after you will either spend the rest of the day at leisure or go for an optional Batwa cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa people, learn about their culture, tradition, way of living, enjoy their traditional performance among others. After the cultural tour, you will return back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 3 days fly in gorilla trekking tour, you will carry your packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest with an experienced park guide which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. During trekking you will be able to view other primate species, birds among others and once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their habitat which gives you an opportunity to learn more about their behaviours, habits, watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, breastfeeding, playing, grooming young ones, take photos and record videos to show people back home.
After the one hour with the mountain gorillas, you will trek back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide and drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Departure flight to Entebbe
On the last day of the 3 days fly in gorilla trekking tour, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kihihi airstrip for your domestic flight to Entebbe international airport which depart at around 8:35am and 12:05am arriving at Entebbe airport at around 11:25am, 14:25am respectively.
