This 6 days Uganda primates flying safari is an extraordinary primate safari that starts and ends in Kampala/Entebbe. The safari will take you to the primate destinations that is Kibale forest national park where you will spend one hour with the chimpanzees and Mgahinga gorilla national park where you will spend one hour with the Golden monkeys. The 6 days Uganda primates flying safari will also take you to Bwindi impenetrable national park where you will be able to spend time with the mountain gorillas in their natural environment.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Kibale forest national park
Depending on your location on the first day of the 6 days Uganda primates flying safari, you will connect to Entebbe international airport for your domestic flight to Kibale forest national park. Upon arrival at Kasese airstrip, you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kibale forest national park. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure and later have dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
Chimpanzee trekking,
After an early breakfast on the second day of your Uganda safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the forest which takes about 30 minutes to 5 hours depending on where the chimpanzees are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food especially during the dry season. During trekking you will be able to see other primates, different bird species, animals, plants species among others. Once the chimpanzees are found you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to learn about their behaviors, habits, watch them feed, play, fight, hunt, mate, take photos and record the moments. After the one hour with the chimpanzees you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet up with your driver guide and return back to the lodge for lunch.
Bigodi swamp walk
After lunch, you will relax at the lodge and later go for an interesting nature walk in Bigodi swamp where you will get a chance to view different bird species, primates, animals like sitatungas, plant and tree species among others. After the swamp walk, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Fly to Mgahinga gorilla national park
After breakfast on the third day of the 6 days Uganda primates flying safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kasese airstrip for your domestic flight to Kisoro airstrip. Upon arrival, you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to your lodge in Mgahinga gorilla national park for lunch where after you will spend the day at leisure and later have dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Golden monkey trekking and transfer to Bwindi national park
After an early breakfast on the fourth day of the Uganda safari, you will carry your lunch box and meet up with your driver guide to go for a golden monkey trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest in search of the golden monkeys which takes about 30 minutes to 5 hours depending on where the golden monkeys are located. Once they are found, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their habitat where you will be able to learn about their habits, watch them feed, jump up in tree branches, take photos and record videos.
After the one hour with the golden monkeys, you will trek back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide and transfer to in Bwindi impenetrable national park. Upon arrival, you will connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park

After an early breakfast on the fifth day of the 6 days Uganda primates flying safari, you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver to transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules, regulations and expectations of gorilla trekking. Uganda Gorilla trekking takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. During trekking, you will have views of colourful bird species, animals, other primates, plant and tree species among others. Once the mountain gorillas are found you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural environment which gives you an opportunity to watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, breast feeding, playing, ask questions, learn about their behaviours, habits, take photos and record the beautiful moments.
After the encounter with the endangered mountain gorillas, you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in Uganda gorilla trekking tour and then meet up with your driver guide to transfer back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Departure flight to Entebbe airport
After breakfast on the last day of the 6 days Uganda primates flying safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kisoro airstrip for your domestic flight to Entebbe International airport.
