The 7 days gorilla trekking flying safari is an amazing primate safari that will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga gorilla national park located in south-western part of Uganda. Both Bwindi impenetrable national park and Mgahinga gorilla national park are famously known for harboring mountain gorillas and golden monkeys. During the 7 days gorilla trekking flying safari, you will be able to engage in an adventurous guided nature walk, Batwa cultural tour, golden monkey and gorilla trekking experience where you will be able to spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas and golden monkeys in their natural environment.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to a hotel in Entebbe
Depending on your location on the first day of the 7 days gorilla trekking flying safari, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Flight to Kisoro-Bwindi impenetrable national park
On the second day of the 7 days gorilla trekking flying safari, you will check out of the hotel and transfer to Entebbe international airport for your domestic flight to Kisoro airstrip which departs at around 7:00am and 10:30am arriving at Kisoro airstrip at around 8:15am, 11:45am respectively. Upon arrival, our driver guide will pick you up from the airstrip and transfer to the lodge for lunch where after you will either spend the rest of the day at leisure, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Gorilla trekking experience
On the third day of the 7 days gorilla trekking flying safari, you will have an early breakfast, carry your lunch box and meet up with your driver guide to go for gorilla trekking briefing at the park headquarters. After the briefing, you will be allocated an experienced park guide and start trekking in the jungle which takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. During trekking, you will be able to view different wildlife species and once the gorillas are located, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their habitat where you will be able to learn and monitor their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities, take photos and record videos.
After the encounter with the gorillas, you will trek back to the starting point where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking experience and later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Guided nature walk and Batwa cultural tour
After an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 7 days gorilla trekking flying safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to go for a guided nature walk in the park where you will get up-close and personal with different wildlife species, enjoy views of the waterfall, listen to sweet sounds of bird species among others. After the nature walk, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a Batwa cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa people, learn about their culture, tradition, way of living, enjoy their traditional performance among others. After the cultural tour, you will return back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Mgahinga gorilla national park
On the fifth day of the 7 days gorilla trekking flying safari, you will have breakfast at leisure, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch where after you will either spend the rest of the day at leisure or go for an optional boat ride on Lake Mutanda. After the boat ride, you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Golden monkey trekking experience
On the sixth day of the 7 days gorilla trekking flying safari, you will have breakfast and meet up with your driver guide to go for golden monkey trekking briefing at the park headquarters. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest in search of the golden monkeys which takes about 30 minutes to 5 hours depending on where they are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. Once the golden monkeys are found, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in the habitat where you will be able to learn about their behaviors, habits, watch them jump up in tree branches, feed, play, take photos and record videos.
After the one hour with the golden monkeys, you will trek back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for lunch where after you will spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Departure flight to Entebbe
On the last day of the 7 days gorilla trekking flying safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kisoro airstrip for your domestic flight to Entebbe international airport which depart at around 8:35am and 12:05am arriving at Entebbe airport at around 11:25am, 14:25am respectively.
