The 4 days luxury gorilla and Lake Bunyonyi safari is an amazing safari that will take you to Lake Bunyonyi which is the deepest lake in Uganda and Bwindi impenetrable national park which is located in south-western part of Uganda and famously known for harboring the highest number of mountain gorillas which are found in four sectors namely Rushaga sector in the south, Buhoma sector in the north, Ruhija sector in the east and Nkuringo sector in the south. During the 4 days luxury gorilla and Lake Bunyonyo safari, you will be able to engage in the amazing boat ride and gorilla habituation experience where you will be able to spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural environment.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Depending on your location on the first day of the 4 days luxury gorilla and Lake Bunyonyi safari, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On the way you will have a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe where you will buy souvenirs and take photos. From the Equator, you will proceed with another stopover for en-route lunch where after you will continue the journey to the park with stunning views on the way. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience
On the second day of the 4 days luxury gorilla and Lake Bunyonyi safari, you will have an early breakfast, carry your lunch box and meet up with your driver guide to go for gorilla habituation briefing at the park headquarters. After the briefing, you will be allocated an experienced park guide and start trekking in the jungle which takes a whole day. Once the gorillas are located, you will be allowed to spend four hours with them in their habitat where you will be able to learn and monitor their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities, engage in the naming process, take photos and record videos.
After the encounter with the gorillas, you will trek back to the starting point where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla habituation experience and later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi-boat ride
After a relaxed breakfast on the third day of the 4 days luxury gorilla and Lake Bunyonyi safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale which takes about 2 hours’ drive. Upon arrival, you will go for an amazing boat ride where you will enjoy stunning views of the terraced farmlands, landscape, explore the 29 islands, spot different bird species among others. After the boat ride, you will drive to the lodge for lunch where after you will spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Departure to Kampala
On the last day of the 4 days luxury gorilla and Lake Bunyonyi safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey back to Kampala. On the way, you will have en-route lunch and proceed to Kampala. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of advise.
