Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park
Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park, depending on your location on the first day of the 5 days fishing tour you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then transfer to Murchison falls national park. On the way you will have stunning views of the beautiful scenery, traditional homesteads, local people, roadside markets and en-route lunch. Upon arrival you will drive directly to the top of the falls where you will have breathtaking views of the Nile and later drive to check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Boat cruise and fishing experience
Boat cruise, after breakfast on the second day of the 5 days fishing tour in Murchison falls national park you will drive to Paraa jetty landing site for an amazing boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. During the boat ride you will have great views of large concentrations of hippos and crocodiles in water, view elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes along the shores, aquatic bird species among others. After the boat cruise you will return back to the lodge for lunch and thereafter go for fishing experience at the bottom of the falls which takes about 2 hours. After the fishing experience you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 &4: Full day fishing at the bottom of the falls
Full day fishing, after breakfast on day 3 and 4 of the 5 days sport fishing tour in Murchison falls national park, you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to cruise to the bottom of the falls for an exciting sport fishing adventure. During fishing you will be accompanied by an experienced fishing guide and you will be able to use different fishing methods such as live bait/ casting lures to catch different fish types like the Nile perch, cat fish among others if you are lucky. After the adventurous fishing experience you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Morning game drive and departure to Kampala
Morning game drive, after breakfast on the last day of the 5 days fishing tour your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive where you will be able to view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals before they g back to their hiding areas, animals like giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, Jacksons hartebeest, warthogs, Uganda kobs among others grazing in the open plains with due, have morning views of the sunrise, different bird species among others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer back to Kampala which takes about 4 to 5 hours drive and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of convenience.
