Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Sezibwa falls, depending on your location on the first day of the 4 days Uganda tour our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel, brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Sezibwa falls in Mukono. Upon arrival at Sezibwa falls you will take part in several activities like hiking to the waterfalls, guided nature walks and bird watching where you will be able to view different bird species like white browed robin chat, great blue turaco, double tooth barbet, common bulbul among others. After the Sezibwa falls tour you will go for lunch where after you will continue the journey to jinja city for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Source of the Nile boat cruise and transfer to Sipi falls

After breakfast on the second day of the 4 days Sezibwa, Source of the Nile and Sipi falls tour, you will transfer to the source of the falls for an amazing boat ride on River Nile where you will have views of the beautiful scenery, water birds like cormorants, kingfishers, fish eagles, hornbills, view the local people fetching water among others. After the boat ride you will go for lunch where after you will transfer to Sipi falls in Kapchorwa where you will arrive in the evening. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Sipi falls hike and coffee tour

Sipi falls hike, after breakfast on the third day of the 4 days Sezibwa, Source of the Nile and Sipi falls tour your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for Sipi falls hike which starts with a briefing from the local guide. After the briefing you will be given a walking stick to support you and then start hiking to the 3 waterfalls which takes about 3 to 4 hours depending on your physical fitness. Each waterfall gives you a different and unique experience and during the hike you will have spectacular views of Mt Elgon slopes, Karamoja plains, Lake Kyoga and have a stopover at a small cave for relaxation. After the Sipi falls hike you will return back to the lodge for lunch.

Coffee tour, after lunch you will go for a coffee tour where you will meet up with the local farmers and visit their plantations to learn about the life cycle of Arabic coffee, visit the processing plant where you will learn how to remove husks from green beans, learn about the art of roasting coffee and end the tour with a cup of coffee. After the coffee tour you will drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Departure to Kampala

After relaxed breakfast on the last day of the 4 days Sezibwa, Source of the Nile and Sipi falls tour, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kampala. On the way you will have en-route lunch and continue the journey to Kampala arriving early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of your choice.
